Site Changes for 2017
Giving my blog a new home on DigitalOcean (plus SSL and a nifty short URL).
Here's what's new:
- Now hosted on DigitalOcean (moved from A Small Orange)
- Now running Ghost version 0.11 LTS (up from 0.7.8)
- SSL certificate from Let's Encrypt w/ automatic HTTPS redirection
- chris.lol: a nifty new domain to access the site (redirects)
- Support buttons: a win-win way for readers to support my writing
I will follow-up this post with an explanation of why I switched hosting providers as well as a guide on migrating to DigitalOcean.
